There are two ways to select multiple items, one allows you to quickly select all items in a list, the other allows you to pick and choose which items in the list you want selected.  Both options can be done on a Mac or Windows computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>To select <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ALL<\/span> items between \u201cpoint A and point Z\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Single click and release on the <strong>first item<\/strong> in the list<\/li><li>Then hold down the <strong>shift key<\/strong> on your keyboard<\/li><li><strong>While holding<\/strong> down the <strong>shift key<\/strong>, single click and release on the <strong>last item <\/strong>in the list you want selected<\/li><li><strong>All items between point A and Z should be highlighted and you can release the shift key<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>To select <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">SOME<\/span> items between \u201cpoint A and point Z\u201d<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Single click and release on the <strong>first item <\/strong>in the list<ul><li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">For Mac<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; Then hold down the <strong>Command Key (\u2318)<\/strong> on your keyboard<\/li><li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">For Windows<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; Then hold down the <strong>Control Key<\/strong> on your keyboard<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>While holding down the <strong>command (or control) key<\/strong>, single click and release on all items between point A and point Z you want selected<ul><li>If you select an item by accident, click on it again (while holding the command key) to deselect it<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Once all items are selected you can release the command key<\/li><li><strong>All items you clicked on between point A and Z should be highlighted<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is helpful when trying to manage, organize, and delete multiple files, photos, emails etc at once on your computer.
